Abstract:
he researcher uses descriptive qualitative method which focuses to analyzed idiomatic expression that
containsin Ariana Grande’s album and to analyzed the most frequently used of each idiomatic expression that contains
in Ariana Grande’s album. The data were analyzed using McCarthy & O’Dell’s Theory, which categorizes idiom into
simile, binomial, proverb, cliché, fixed statement, and other language. The selected data were lyrics from ten songs in
the Eternal Sunshine album, which were then examined to classify the idiomatic expression found.
