dc.description	Setiap masyarakat memiliki sistem kebudayaan yang berbeda-beda. Kebudayaan yang dimiliki masyarakat tersebut memiliki sejarah dan perkembangannya sendiri. Kebudayaan sama seperti halnya makhluk hidup yang lahir berkembang dan mati. Kebudayaan suatu daerah atau komunitas juga tidak terlepas dari pengaruh keadaan di sekitarnya. Pada hakikatnya, kebudayaan yang dimiliki oleh suatu kelompok masyarakat pada awalnya, lahir sebagai proses adaptasi masyarakat atau kelompok tersebut dengan keadaan di sekitarnya. Hal ini menjadikan kebudayaan satu wilayah dengan wilayah lainnya memiliki perbedaan. Meskipun ada perbedaan kebudayaan antara satu kelompok dengan kelompok lainnya, interaksi antar kelompok menjadikan kebudayaan satu kelompok dan kelompok lainnya memiliki kemiripan bahkan kesamaan. Hal ini juga didorong oleh proses adaptasi kelompok tersebut ketika berhubungan atau berinteraksi dengan kelompok lainnya. Proses adaptasi dalam hal ini tidak hanya melulu adaptasi terhadap keadaan geografis dari kelompok tersebut tetapi juga adaptasi terhadap eksistensi kelompok lain.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	A culture is like a living being that is born, develops, and may die or be lost. The existence of a culture lies in the ability of the people who own the culture to maintain that culture. The close relationship between culture and society, the owner of the culture, is the same as only humans, consisting of material and spiritual aspects. This short article, entitled History of Malay Culture, aims to reveal one of the cultures in Indonesia, namely Malay culture, especially related to the development of Malay culture from the beginning of arrival to the present day, which causes Malay society to be identified with Islam. This paper comes to the discovery that culture has undergone various stages of development, in this case the development of culture also occurs because of interactions with other cultures.	en_US
