Abstract:
Knowledge is one source of lasting competitive advantage in the economy where the only
certainty is uncertainty. When market shift technologies proliferate, competitors multiply, and
products become obsolete, successful organizations are those that consistently create new
knowledge. Lecturer began to experience work differently with a new array of rules,
expectation, and condition of employement predicted on uncertainty and chaos. This condition
leads the need of knowledge-based lecturer and multiskilling lecturer, and to create knowledge
for individual and organizational performance improvement, organizations need to apply
organizational and self learning and to manage proffesional intellect. In this condition, carrer
self management are needed to deliver positive outcome, enhance self efficacy and well being.
There will be greatly beneficial for self motivated high skill lecturer seeking to adapt a
changing world of work.
