Abstract:
This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of organizational commitment on teacher performance, to test
and analyze the influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance, to examine and analyze the
influence of organizational culture on teacher performance, to test and analyze the effect of compensation on
teacher performance, and to examined and analyzed the effect of organizational commitment, principal leadership
style, organizational culture and compensation simultaneously on teacher performance. This type of research is
a correlation study with quantitative methods. The population of this study were 65 teachers of the Insan Harapan
Batam Integrated Islamic School. The research sample was 65 people, taken with a saturated sampling technique.
The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires and then analyzed using multiple linear regression tests
and hypothesis testing using SPSS version 25. The results of this study are: (1) organizational commitment has a
positive and significant effect on teacher performance, (2) the principal's leadership style has a positive effect.
and not significant to teacher performance, (3) organizational culture has a negative and significant effect on
teacher performance, (4) compensation has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, and (5)
organizational commitment, principal leadership style, organizational culture and compensation simultaneously
positive and significant effect on teacher performance.
